Attention Veterans!! Knoxville Bar Association and Legal Aid of East Tennessee are offering an IN PERSON Free Legal Advice Clinic on February 14, 2024 at the Knox County Public Defender’s Community Law Office
The Law Firm of Daniel L. Ellis, PLLC is sharing the Knoxville Bar Association's (KBA) announcement regarding an important Access to Justice Event in Knoxville Tennessee. Attorney Daniel L. Ellis is a Co-Chair of the KBA’s Access to Justice Committee, but the Law Firm of Daniel L. Ellis, PLLC is not directly affiliated with this event though we support its aim of serving those who have served and are serving our nation.
[The KBA is] very pleased to announce that the Veterans Legal Advice Clinic event will once again be held in person at the Knox County Public Defender’s Office on February 14.
Any veteran seeking legal help is encouraged to attend the Legal Advice Clinic for Veterans on February 14, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In 2024, these clinics will be held every other month: February 14, April 10, June 12, August 14, October 9, and December 11. There are no clinics scheduled for January, March, May, July, September, or November.
Veterans who are not able to attend the clinic in person are encouraged to continue to use the telephone clinic option. Preregistration is required for telephone clinic and veterans are asked to call Legal Aid of East Tennessee at (865)637-0484 to preregister.

This is a general advice clinic with a wide variety of legal issues, including family law, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, criminal defense, consumer protection, contract disputes, child support, and personal injury, among other issues.
