The Disability Rights Bar Association (DRBA) was founded by a coalition of disability attorneys, law professors, legal nonprofits, and advocacy organizations united by a shared commitment to advancing effective legal representation for people with disabilities.

The DRBA operates as an online network connecting attorneys who practice in the field of disability civil rights law. Through this network, members exchange information, coordinate litigation and advocacy strategies, and provide mentorship to lawyers and law students entering disability rights practice. The DRBA empowers attorneys and individuals with disabilities to pursue stronger cases, craft more persuasive arguments, and stay informed about key developments in disability rights law and practice.
